Christmas experience in the Philippines--December 25, 2013

December 25, 2013

Hillary called this her Championship Christmas Dinner

   After opening her presents!

This is the couple's missionaries apartment

This is JC! the cutest little girl I know. And I'm her favorite missionary ever!

Sister Marley, my toledo Mom (We ate at her house for Christmas.)

   Some cool Christmas Trees!

So a story about her presents:  She got our small package that we sent her through a guy in a missionary mom's (Liz Smith) ward that was flying to Cebu.  It was a very tender mercy for me--her Christmas package was lost in the typhoon, and I had been worried sick ever sense that she wouldn't have anything for Christmas. Liz contacted me on Facebook one night at 11pm and I had to meet her at 9am the next morning in Draper--needless to say, Lance and I were at Wal-Mart at 1am.  We had to keep it light, but that is okay!  She had a few presents to open and that is our Christmas miracle!  Yay!!!  I can't even express my gratitude for Sister Smith and her thoughtfulness to think about me and ask if we would like to send a small package.  Heavenly Father is aware of us--and he sends angels to help us with our troubles. I will never forget how he helped me that day!
Our favorite Christmas present for the day was being able to Skype Hillary!  We only had an hour this time, but we enjoyed every minute of it! So glad Aaron was able to join us too.  Merry Christmas Sister Bingham!  We Love you!!!

 Can't wait for Mother's Day!
